Either way it’s good, the result should be the same: an increased clicks through rate on your website, therefor increased revenues.

When you start developing a website it’s preferable you have an idea on how your website should look, where the ads should be implemented, how should they look in order to be visible and clickable, but in the same time not to interfere with your website content and design. In other words I am saying that the ads should integrate smoothly within the website template and content.

As a merchant of any kind (tangible or intangible products), you would be looking for performance in sales. Looking to establish the marketing costs level to something you are willing to pay (and not more) has been always an ideal… until the appearance of internet affiliate programs. Merchants have been in search of performance based deals.

Internet is the media that actually can deliver fairly and offers greater measurability compared to traditional media (such as newspapers, radio, television, outdoor).

I run online campaigns, and made many tests, with pay per click text ads, pop-unders, banner delivered on a cost per mile basis, sponsored links in search engines, and the one conclusion in making effective online marketing is not how you deliver the message, but where you deliver it.

For those that want to run or already run an online campaign, loosing the “where” point of your site will conclude in a very expensive campaign with no results. Therefore, for many media planners keeping those expenses as low as possible and reaching the goals they set, is imperative. No one can afford to blow their marketing budget on mediocre results.

Online marketing is not so different from regular marketing. There is a goal that have to be achieved using some limited expenses. The key here is targeting.

I am sure you already had the chance to meet enough sellers that don’t really trust their product. Well this is the case I also found in the online marketing business as well.

If you are familiar with the most important ad networks and affiliate networks and you would have looked for a referral program, I am sure you would have realized that not many of them have this program available for themselves. Now, it is a bit ironic when you think of it: these networks promote online advertising on a PPC or PPL basis, but many don’t use such methods in their marketing strategy.
