Me, for example, I am managing no more than 10 websites at the moment, which I am trying to have them up to date at all times. That means creating new content to be added so I can win my visitor’s loyalty and get them coming back to my websites. I also know people (webmasters) that have chosen to use another tactic rather than creating only a few websites and have them developed in time - that tactic is creating much more websites with static content (a few pages top for each website), which mainly get organic search traffic.

When I say many websites here I mean hundreds… For each website alone those webmasters are trying to create unique content though they are using the same resources in a matter of speaking and are promoting the same services on all websites. This simple strategy leads to search engine saturation for a certain area. That doesn’t mean that other websites can’t be created / indexed by search engines from the same category, but that when someone searches for related keywords to the content of those websites there are proportional more chances for one of the many websites to rank good and get organic visits. Having only a website or a few to work on is harder to rank good for a variety of keywords.

Both options have their advantages and disadvantages, but of course creating many websites for a certain industry is a strategy. The webmasters I know of are making quite good winnings from this, and creating a website doesn’t take them more than a day. I couldn’t recommend which option to use at the moment, as I have no experiance in this field yet, but it’s an idea I wanted to share with you.

If you have tried something like this you are more than welcomed to leave you thoughts on this strategy below in the comment section.
