As a web publisher I have faced many times with the need to make different changes to my websites and optimize them. Any changes to the templates / layouts were always followed by changes to the ads placement within the website and integration in the new template. This begun to be more a problem as I have passed from HTML built websites to CMS, where the content pages have increased dramatically, and the change of the ad code was not an option anymore in efficiency terms. Having my own ad server was the solution I needed to manage fast all my advertising campaigns on all my websites, to change the color of the ad or just the ad itself, to change the ad / affiliate network monetizing my websites in just a matter of some clicks.
Its main features are:
The use of this personal ad server is similar as using your own ad network that monetizes your website: you login, you make a publisher zone and get a code to implement in your website, just like with other ads, placing it where youwant your ad to appear. In order for any ads to appear on your website you also must set up in OpenAds an advertiser or more, let’s say Google AdSense or/and BidVertiser, place their ad codes and link them to the publisher zones you have created. Once this is done, the ads will start to appear on your website. OpenAds facilitates the change of your advertiser / ad and affiliate network, your ad layout in just a matter of clicks, without the necessity to go to each page of your website and change the code manually. You also can link more advertisers to a publisher zone and have their ads shown in rotation or with a cap you will set up. There would be many other things to be said, but I prefer let you find out, as this ad server application deserve your full attention.
